I had 3 dobermans when all my kids were born, doctor said, take these receiving blankets home and let the dogs get the scent My children became their kids and they protected them in ways similar to this, when playing in the yard, they formed a perimeter around them at all times

I have owned several Dobies , my kids in the yard were completely safe . Those dogs would tear into any threat . Great animals .

I never owned one, but my friend had 2 with four kids and a neighborhood in his yard, which was at least 6 to 10 running around no Fence and his Doberman kept all the kids safe and corralled in the backyard. It was amazing to see he would nudge them to stay in a certain area you never had to worry they are great great dogs.
