What I find works really well (but only for food motivated dogs 😅) is have three pieces of food, such as sausage, cheese or a little bit of bread. Something that you can fully squish around the tablet. Then put the tablet in one piece of food. Give them a piece without a tablet (this gives them a false sense of security that the food doesn’t have any tablets and they tend to eat it quicker) then given them the piece with the tablet in and quickly offer the next piece of food. They will likely try to swallow the piece of food with the tablet in as quickly as possible so they can get the next piece, giving them less time to chew and discover the tablet and then try to spit it out or drop it.

I try chicken, ham, apple /carrot even blueberry now blueberry is great for us. Last resort is cheese 🤣🤣🤣

Doesn’t happen to me… I place the tablet in their mouth close their mouth. And they will swallow .. simple

Wish it was this easy with a toddler / small child and calpol 🤣 can take me upwards of 30 mins to get the 10ml dose into her 🫣 she hates any medicine

our staffy cross American bulldog who we sadly lost at the age of 13 2024 christmas eve but he used to take his tablet like a treat so he was really easy ❤️

I have one who just eats it …. I was smug then i met my second dog - and he will eat anything he isn’t supposed to but a tablet not on your belly
