I don’t understand why they didn’t do a medicated cycle with check ins? They could absolutely do clomid or letrozole, bring you in for follicle checks and do a trigger shot if there’s nothing anatomically wrong with you and you have unexplained infertility. That would ensure you are ovulating, and give you a higher chance of conception than nothing at all without having to jump into next steps immediately.

honestly im not sure the right way to say this but adoption is not just for when you cant have children of your own so you settle(that may not be the right word). Adoption and even fostering is a very delicate thing that can affect people you may never even get to meet. id encourage you to look into the stories of people who have been adopted to see what a healthy adoption can look like. I hope your family planning journey goes well❤️

IVF has way higher odds, and, in my experience, it’s the thing that will work, if anything will. I know, some people stop treatments and fall magically pregnant, but I’m talking generally…I did 6 rounds of IUI and then IVF. I wish I had those 6 months back.

We did embryo adoption 🩷. I know it might not be for everyone, but we felt like it was the perfect choice for us because we wanted to adopt, but I also wanted to be pregnant. Praying that you will feel peace for whatever you choose next.

Not selfish at all! I'd check out a functional medicine doctor and try to get an explanation for your "unexplained" infertility. Still can be expensive, but might be worth a shot.

It’s not selfish. You have to do what you feel comfortable with. As an adoptee- hearing you say you are pro adoption, I’m so excited. But also, an an adoptee- I didn’t realize how amazing it was to have a child that looked like me.

i heard great things about ivf. i know everyone is different but its seems to work a lot better than iui from what ive heard

at this stage it's truly up to your heart's desire. you could further testing but it's tiring and expensive, IVF is invasive and taxing and adoption is truly 50 shades of vulnerable and truly trauma on all 3 sides. I hope you are able to feel at peace and choose wisely

If you’ve been trying and really tracking ovulations and doing everything right, you pretty much have 1% to conceive naturally thus giving a lower success with Iui. I’m on the same boat. some my dr recommended straight to IVF

after seeing a few of your videos on having a hard time conceiving, I saw a TT of a couple who also couldnt and they did testing and found out theyre bodies were "allergic" to each other. Basically her immune system was to good and killed his swimmers. And they ended up having to take a medicine to calm her immune system down and to up his swimmers

I’m rocking my double rainbow IUI baby right now. 🌈 🌈 We went through 5 years of infertility and two losses, and my 3rd IUI was successful. It was much more affordable and less daunting to me than IVF.
