this series changed my perspective on how people use fandoms and their interests as a form of escape in such a beautiful way it made you get uncomfortable but then it showed you that these characters felt comfortable having these interests where they can be themselves and have control. one of the things about this series that i love is that you can TELL its made by people whove gone through this stuff/been to cons. i feel like a lot of parody/commentary stuff on fandom and convention culture is just made purely to poke fun at it and make fun of the ppl that attend these events, but 2kfc is genuinely a passion project and celebration too

If you’re a cosplayer, you gotta relate to atleast one of them, they are all so relatable and unique in their own way and it’s so comforting, this show was such a huge comfort when I first watched it, I’ve known so many people like this and have been in the same spot as one. This show is fantastic and I know everyone who cosplays feels seen in some way.

While I've never went to any cons, this hits me deep in other ways. I've always felt like I didn't fit anywhere when I was younger, always having to put on some act to get friends. Even then I was weird, always being the dog in the family game at recess, staying up late watching animation memes, or watching anime characters dancing to songs. I'm a Junior in high school now and I've finally found a group that I'm comfortable in, and able to express myself freely, well, as free as social anxiety plus public school can get lol. Thanks for making me and many others feel seen :) ❤️it means the world to us all
