You have a $15,000 stove and you have a low dollar guy installed it. The big question is did you go with the lowest bit? The answer is probably yes.

So many of you claim that I took the lower bid- I didn’t. Definitely had lower options, but went with him because everything he said about himself, including him being a licensed contractor.

Naples Construction :
I’m a builder in Naples and moved here from Seattle about five years ago. I still can’t understand why even multi million dollar homes here sometimes have worse quality than low income homes back in Washington. But honestly, it works out for me, when you focus on quality, you don’t even have to advertise yourself

I don’t trust contractors. I would prob subcontract for every item with different companies that do only one thing specifically for example tile and floors or drywall etc

As contractors we see this happen all the time… projects that should be done within a certain budget range get awarded to the lowest bidder. Unfortunately, the difference usually shows in the workmanship. Vetting experience, licensing, and past work matters more than price. Sorry to say but this is what you get my friend. Hope im wrong 😑

Cheap will always cost more, as a Contractor myself if I took over a job like this I would have to start from zero and get permits!
