@spadedutch: In a notorious May 1971 interview with Playboy magazine, John Wayne made several controversial statements regarding race, sexuality, and American history that have resurfaced and sparked significant debate in recent years. During the interview, John Wayne made the following notable remarks: On Race and White Supremacy: Wayne stated that he believed in "white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility" and that he did not believe in giving authority to "irresponsible people". On Native Americans: He dismissed the idea that land was "stolen" from Indigenous peoples, stating that the Indians were "selfishly trying to keep it for themselves" and that he didn't feel it was wrong to take the land. On Homosexuality and Cinema: Wayne used a gay slur to describe the lead actors in Midnight Cowboy and categorized it and Easy Rider as "perverted films". He did express support for depicting "healthy, lusty" heterosexual sex in movies. On Politics: He expressed strong support for Richard Nixon and the Vietnam War and criticized "extreme leftists" and the younger generation for their protests. These comments have led to calls for the removal of Wayne's name and statue from places such as the John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Californi#racist

Ronnie :
we were all blessed to be born Americans. No one did anything to make yourself be born in the USA. Some of us have tried to give back , like military service or many other ways but we didn't nothing
