CPST here. Definitely take the head insert out. (Both inserts have a 20 pound limit) then the “seat insert” must be used until 40 pounds. The headrest looks like it needs to come down a click. As far as recline, babe can be in the 0+ month recline if babe is more comfy that way. They don’t have to be more upright once babe hits 3 months. Just some food for thought 😊👍🏻

I’m on my second day with my graco Lilac and I love it ! So cutesy 💗 I had the inserts because it says up to 20lbs then you can remove it she’s 16lbs and 6 months but she looked so uncomfortable with them so I just decided to remove them and she looks so much more comfortable now 🙏🏻 read one of the comments that said the seat was touching the back of the car seat just wanted to share something I read online about being able to

I’d leave the inserts and recline the seat to the 0+ recline so her head won’t be pushed like that and click the headrest down 1 notch. The Therese she looks great!💕
