Just because you were blonde as a kid doesn’t mean you’re blonde today. Often it only looks that way in childhood. If you stopped dying your hair, you might find you’re not blonde anymore

Studying hairstylist here. When learning about all natural shades of hair, there’s a scale we use from Schwarzkopf (there are other brands too that change the scale a bit but not by much at all). The blonde you refer to is actually the highest number on the scale (no 9) that has to be bleached and most often dyed to get to the correct shade. EVERYONE get’s darker when they’re older. That’s just what the hair does naturally.

A lot of people don’t understand that hair color is colortheory either and it is so annoying!!!!! It is the same way with undertones of skin, cool toned is pink warm toned is yellow not to mention neutral and olive undertones. Hair has undertones as well!!!!! Blondes have a gold undertone and it can be incredibly dark brown looking while still being blond because gold is the undertone!!!!!! Brunettes are red based!!!! But people dont wanna listen…

I was a ginger as a kid and now my hair is more just a light brownish color depending on how much sunlight I get. my beard still grows fairly red though.

God people are so mean. "Mousy brown" "dishwater blonde". I think a lot of people were blonder as kids because they spent more time outside cause we stop taking as good care of ourselves as we get older and become inside goblins. Baby Madeline was a cutie, hair should be whatever color your want it to be.
