I just got the phoenix plus 2 a couple weeks before this one released, I’m trying to figure out what the difference between the topdon one and the pp2 are. I tried to do a tool to tool comparison on the website and it doesn’t do it for the topdon one. I can’t get topdon to reach back out to me on this Either.

What are your thoughts on a XTOOL D8W? Ive been using it for sometime and really like the topology. It is quicker at pinpointing the area where you should be looking and helps eliminates places you should not be looking. Still would like to hear your thoughts when you get time if you do not mind of course?

Ugh. LLMs would be AMAZING at helping with diagnosis if they used up to date models with really good prompts and tie ins to OE repair manuals and wiring diagrams. Unfortunately, this just sounds like a last gen model reading the code description and spitting out some bullshit.

We’ve found “Launch” has recently invested heavily in one of the AI platforms. I think it was MasterTech AI. We’ve checked into it. AI seems to be on the general info side so far.

I’m between the one, phoenix plus 2 and xlink work on diesels a fair amount so i’m not sure how much i’ll be able to do with them

TopDon seems to have switched using launch based OS to auto based OS. everything I'm seeing on the one scanner matches what I have with the altel S2 including the same AI guy lol
