The numbing sensation is from szechuan peppercorns. The chili's bring the heat and the peppercorns numb you (found out from a steak that I got from Disney Polynesian restaurant lol)

Lmao Bruh guess I must explain this to a supposed "foodie" ... its just sichuan peppercorns bro doesn't even know what they are. they basically ruin the rest of the meal since it numbs the mouth just ask for it without them. It's just scattered around the plate. It's not the chicken. If you avoid them you won't feel any spice
