For anyone interested in working on set shooting crews days are at least 12 hours often much more. I am at an age where I no longer love my job (SPFX- practical) and I would like more work life balance. If you are someone looking to get into this industry really think about what you want your life to look like in the long run.

The hours can be insane. Quite a bit of the time i’m on smaller gigs where we load in at 6, you build it, operate it, tear it down at 11pm curfew and its 2-3am before you’re out and another 2hrs to home. I love the live TV work - tons of rules to prevent 28hr days.
