I believe this happened to my mother we never recovered her ID and we were never notified until 3 hours after they pronounced her passed! TAKE THE DONOR OFF YOUR DL!!!

I went for my real ID. I was a donor. I had them take it off because of this reason.

he signed up as an organization donor, as a child. that is what I am getting from this. I will never say, "do not advocate for your loved one!" I am just saying, we weren't their. this is a legal problem.
