Is it normal to get even more pimples when you’re repairing your skin barrier?? I’ve noticed my skin feels less irritated and red but I’ve also noticed more pimples.

My skin barrier has been irritated and sensitive for a year now. I’ve just stuck with a very simple oat moisturiser the whole time but no improvement- does this indicate I need one with more ceramides/fatty acids/soothing ingredients?

I had a severe barrier damage end of Feb and still at repairing. I have had several setbacks and flairs but it is coming back quicker between each time so hopefully it is back soon 🥰

for me for my skin barrier being damaged it breaks out from my shower and after and skin water it’s gotten to the point where I have had to use water bottles and been using aveno cicalfate at night

Just realized I probably have never actually properly given enough time to heal my barrier. Longest I’ve gone is like 2 weeks and then my skin felt better and I thought I could put in retinoid back and then within a couple days my skin would fall back into a irritated state no matter how slowly I was using my tretinoin. Maybe if I do a proper reset I can use my tretinoin again 💔

Omg this course has been EXACTLY what I’ve needed!! My skin has been doing the flip flop from okay to omg not okay since last October (because I effed up my barrier after overdoing products too quickly after a Moxi facial) and I think I kept just trying again with actives WAY TOO SOON! I’m on about week 2 of basic but skin barrier focused products and am already noticing a nice difference! Going to give it to that full 8-12 week period this time!! Thank you for all the work you did on this series!!! 😍😍🥰🥰

🤡 4 year ago, my mental health isnt good and i cant even do skincare routine, im too lazy to do that. and 4 years without any skincare. my acne is gone but 2 month ago i started skincare again. coz i feel my face so dull then i uses retinol it started acne again then 3 days ago i just use fw, mois and sunscren it got better again my acne started healing again. so what should i do.

what if your barrier is only slightly upset a tiny bit of pinkyness on the cheeks , does the process have to be as long ? I've been using the Cocoking ceremide serum and Ave'ne cicafast , not in front of me if not correct . How do I get your course ? Thank you 😊

Can you please reply to my comment, PLEASE. IM IN DESPERATE NEED OF YOU. So I went on accutane and after i used tretinoin since my dermatologist prescribed it to me. I was clear for a whole year and a few months. When track started, the first meet that i went too i did not put enough sunscreen on and got wind burn. After that my skin was itchy and red. I used only cream for a few days and then when it felt better went back on tretinoin. I realized that my face was getting worse but it didnt feel burning or anything like that anymore but acne was coming back very slowly but it came back, i freaked out and did the whole one product for a day then changed it up the next day. I decided that i just needed to do skin barrier repair but its been a month since I started and it seems to get better but then break out some more and closed comedones as well. There also is the side of my face with acne that wont heal even if i only was my face once a day bc my skin is super dry so i only cleanse so i dont strip my barrier anymore. This is all in a course of 3 almost 4 months. Do you think its a damaged barrier or just my acne comjng back? How long does it take to heal? Can you please answer this I need some advice. 🥺
