Message Hello, My name is Beverly Turner, and I'm reaching out from North Carolina on behalf of my son, Jason Turner. Several years ago, Jason suffered a traumatic brain injury and fell into a coma. Our family spent countless hours at his bedside trying to reach him. A friend suggested playing Lionel Richie's music, so we played "Hello" in his ear. To our amazement, Jason began moving his lips to the words. It was the first response we had seen. Shortly afterward, he began opening his eyes and began the journey toward recovery. Today, he has made an extraordinary recovery and shows no signs of the brain damage we were warned might be possible. Since then, life has continued to test him. Most tragically, his wife Andrea was killed right in front of him while saving her daughter's life. Andrea died in Jason's arms, and the loss was devastating. Rather than allowing grief to define his future, Jason chose to honor Andrea's memory by helping build Get Stoned Quartz & Granite, and we are now preparing to celebrate the opening of a beautiful new showroom. I recently sent a package to Mr. Richie's management team explaining our story. I know this is a long shot, but if there is any way this message could be forwarded to the appropriate person, our family would be incredibly grateful. Lionel Richie's music became part of one of the most important moments our family has ever experienced, and we would simply love the opportunity for Mr. Richie to know the impact his music had on Jason's life.
