@sophiemorrisofficial: I actually only realised today that it’s Pancake Tuesday tomorrow!! 🙈🤣 Is it just me or is it very early this year?! Anyway as a result I didn’t record a reel for it 🙈 so re-sharing this one from last year! Love this product for pancakes from small Irish brand @nutshed_ ❤️ 👇 I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise that I believe we should say no to Nutella this Pancake Tuesday! As I chatted about in my last Nutella reel, the nutella product that we all know with its lovely picture of hazelnuts on the front, only contains 13% hazelnuts which is a long way from being the main ingredient! Instead the main ingredient is sugar and the second ingredient is palm oil 👎 This visual I used in the video of what makes up a jar of Nutella is quite eye opening and I think is helpful to see it in that way to realise what it is! What I’m looking for in a chocolate spread is that it contains mostly nuts, because that’s what’s providing nutritional benefit. I absolutely love the Dunnes Simply Better hazelnut cocoa spread as an alternative to Nutella as I showed in my last reel but I know it can be very hard to get your hands on it at the moment 🙈. SO this is another amazing pancake topping option for Pancake Tuesday - nutshed’s Peanut chocolate spread which is 70% nuts and only 9% sugar!!! 😍 it’s also a small Irish brand, made by two sisters in Tipperary who are doing an amazing job making incredible nut butter products 🙌 I adore their peanut butters as well, they use single origin nuts in their products which means that the nuts are sourced from the one region and they often have unique flavours that are specific to the region where they were grown. What a wonderful company Nutshed are and so keep an eye out for this product for Pancake Tuesday! 🥞❤️ Have you tried this chocolate spread?
