Oh my, someone knows! I had this with Palexia SR & IR.. I’d be constantly doctor shopping because I’d Always run out before I was due! My illness was what got me the medication in the first place! Now I’m on an addiction needle to help stop me from going into withdrawals!

I was a shop manager, not one person for over 25 years knew. On my days off I'd get in the car with my book, my Drug book and visit the whole of Norfolk chemists to get my tablets, my phosphate would only last 2 days (100 tablets) from the doc.

love how honest you are. I was always class A's but that doesnt matter addiction is addiction. I did the exact same as you just described for 24 years but I was far from functioning for the last 20 years up until I found recovery

I took 4 tablets a day for about 8 years and the withdrawals were horrendous and it took me six weeks to feel normal. So can’t imagine how it might have been taking more. You are very brave and you’ve done really well.

I get prescribed 224 a month with no paracetamol as not taking for pain related issues. I hate the tiredness and taking them but I have too. Hopefully, they will find something else I can take instead.
