If 6 was part of the code, then clues 2 & 3 cannot be correct… based on clue 1, this means 2 & 0 are in the code, but not in the position of clue 1. Clue 4 tells us 0 is in, and clue 5&1 mean it’s in the first position. 6&8 are eliminated, so clue 3 means it end in 2. Clue 2 can now only be true if the 4 was wrongly placed. 042.
