my kiddo has that lingering cough after having a virus and it turned out to be Pneumonia! if it keeps going I would definitely take him in and see if thats what's going on or something similar

My 2 year old had a lingering cough for 6 weeks after a virus that never even made her act sick. No fever, no appetite or behavior changes, or any other symptoms besides a cough and runny nose. A round of antibiotics finally cleared it up!

We all had a bad virus too and my youngest had pneumonia! I was shocked when the doctor told me- like he was bad but I just thought respiratory infection. Sheesh
