@louise_coelho_: When I first got the Zuki, my ex and I decided to tackle the timing belt… with absolutely no idea what TDC was 🙃 We pulled everything apart, then turned to YouTube like “surely this’ll be easy.” They said to line up the timing marks... simple, right? Wrong. This pulley had THREE marks. Two factory. One mystery mark from the previous owner. Then I realised the camshaft pulley could go on two different ways… AND there were marks on both sides of the pulley. So I had no idea: • which mark was correct • which side was facing out • or what I’d even done wrong I spent LITERALLY six months chasing timing issues, thinking it was ignition timing, the distributor, anything...
