The real beauty is memorability. Before social media, people who went on shows like The Apprentice only received a fairly temporary level of fame before being almost forgotten amongst everyone else who’s been on the programme. TV shows are still a fast track way to loads of attention that would otherwise take ages through posting alone. But without milking out the TV experience with content, the temporary fame will go to waste.
