they make this stuff called stove cement it's also called furnace cement near some of that on your road boat I said on your rope and there's a giant hole in the lifter hole of the burner place on top leave the lifter handle in there or something to steal that as well that stuff something in it I threw an old stove pipe damper on my break great great it's related 4 to 8 hours wake up some sawdust from your wood cutting tile. trips and putting a damper on it you guys have been yelling at me for years to do this so I'm finally doing it

For the crack, good start. Add fire seal putty to it. If you can gasket the door you will be doing much better

id go for heat sink. Just stack bricks around it, as much as you can fit. it'll absorb the heat and slowly release it throughout the night keeping you toasty for far longer meaning you should get a full night's sleep without having to refuel every 2 hours 👌

It would be worth looking for a proper small wood stove- you’re running a coal stove presently. A vozelgang box stove will treat you right, and if you add some thermal mass you’ll stay warm all night (if you don’t sleep in)

too many gaps , top hotnplate has hole , air gets in burns faster, that join you should separate and fit gasket inside that join

That is meant for coal, not wood. Wood stoves are larger. Sure it works, but that why you can’t burn that long

what I do to keep ours burning longer is after I had a good bed of coals was to put in as big a ring as I could fit at bed time. it would usually keep a steady medium heat for a good bit of the night. hope you get sorted with the crack.

try a wood stove cement comes in a caulking tube at the hardware store should work good or exhaust cement should be rated for high enough heat

you should've tied that grate with steel wire. you can also get someone to weld the gap or if its cast iron you could braze it. additionally, you can buy some heat resistant paint to do the entire stove.

Why not put in a double walled set of chimney pipes helps exhaust cleaner, LES chimney build up so less cleaning and safer
