I appreciate that the issue here is that she isn't replying and I agree that is rude. but on a separate note, unless you're filthy rich and can pay for everyone, a destination wedding is insane. you expect people to pay for a holiday but they don't get to decide where, when, what they do or what they wear (dress code). I'll happily attend a wedding that means I'll have to get a cheap room for 1 night but you can't expect more than that (flights, transfers etc). especially as it's customary to buy the couple a gift. destination weddings are meant to be very small. your destination wedding is not a holiday for your guests!

So, just straight up ask her if she is coming or not and tell her you need an answer so you can finalize things. Let her know it is okay if she can’t make it, you will miss her but understand.

She’s allowed to be upset that OP missed her wedding or to be having financial issues or whatever else. But that has to be communicated. Also like, it’s usually hard to afford traveling for a wedding while still in college. I don’t blame the friend if she can’t attend, traveling is expensive. But it’s time to talk cost estimates and then tell the bride honestly if you can’t do it.
