You think this is a skill. It’s not. It’s an annoyance. What the public want is to listen to the songs. We want to listen to the end of the song, we want to hear the start of the next song. The song intro into vocals is part of the song. Let us listen to it. I don’t care about Warrington.

Here's one for your next video - why do you say the name of the radio station so often? (3 times in 30 seconds). Radio 2 don't do it much at all, true greats like Howard Stern and Terry Wogan never did it.

I always thought every dj had its own favorite Playlist so that was why they knew when the vocals started. Just like a dance or fitness instructor in a class who's counting or giving those step and twist commands

the radio station i work in uses a ducking thing for the music just as the voice finishes and a audio limiter to keep the levels good
