Making cities denser and more walkable could be great, but I don't think it's the solution for this problem. Fixing building codes so that parking is built INTO the commercial building itself makes MUCH MORE sense.

Living in a city with no parking lots will be the bane of your existence. It’s awful and inconvenient especially when the public transit is not efficient or convenient: Boston. The garages are often $50 too!
