As a 47 year trucker I can say that year after year these drivers are told and trained not to operate empty in high winds above 55mpr.

I asked a fella bout how fast do you need to be goin before it would do that. He said depends on how hard you want to hit the ground. I’ve seen Bull Haulers running side by side so if the wind pushes on into the other. They won’t tip over.

For those saying "he shouldn't be driving in that weather" this is the only way these guys make money most of them are owner/operators meaning they own their trucks/equipment. So if they're not driving every single hour they can, they slip further into debt that they can't get out of
