For 5 min scalping, just follow the trend and trade pullbacks to support or resistance, don’t fight the direction. Aim for small quick pips and keep tight stop loss. Fast execution matters a lot, that’s why some traders use LMFX for scalping.

When you say you want the candle to “close” outside of the range does that mean no wick on top if it closes high, and no bottom wick if it closes low? Just a flat top or bottom?

The only thing I see wrong with this is it could be 10:20 by the time it ever touches. Thats 50 mins the markets done been open. Does the strategy have to be 5 mins candles?
