Why would you say they vanished overnight when that's not true? It likely was a process that took several years. It's supposed to have coincided with a multi year drought...so what if after the first year of the drought some people moved on to try to find somewhere better because people were dying from starvation and those who left never came back and that kept happening until the last ones left? YOU don't know! None of us do! You make it sound like somebody was walking by one day and it was this bustling city and the next day they walked by and there wasn't even one human there but in reality it wasn't found for 600 years! 🤦🏼♀️It is believed that many of them moved on to different areas, and I severely doubt that everybody just looked at each other one day and said let's go tomorrow! 😂 But we really don't know exactly how it worked out. What I do know is this: it's really not difficult to be honest.
