That would be going backwards, silicone is better gentler and free of PLASTIC, it’s also harder to gather bacteria on silicone rather thank plastic

The silicone one is meant to hold still on your scalp. You aren’t scrubbing your hair with it or combing it, you are trying to grip the skin on your scalp and then move it so that the scalp moves. It helps blood flow.

Silicone is more of a massage for your head while the plastic exfoliates. Both have their purpose.
