To ensure precision, I was carefully positioned on the table for accurate treatment. Since the radiation was focused on my neck, they created a custom mask for me, designed to hold my head completely still during each session. The mask-making process was fascinating. They warmed a mould and placed it over my head and face to ensure a snug, perfect fit.
