The whole point of women fighting for choice wasn’t to replace one rigid expectation with another. No choice should be set in cement. Women are allowed to evolve, shift priorities, and redefine themselves as life changes. Stay home, build a career, do both, do neither. The freedom is in deciding for yourself, again and again if needed.

I am so happy that my 30 something crash out was with my therapist and not social media. This is how I would act during fertility treatments and someone I didn't think "worthy" of a child got pregnant, again. Thank God therapy was one $30 dollars back then, and thank God for Catherine Douda.
