How do I fix the reclining part in my 2011 Ford edge, on my driver seat the chair will only recline backwards and won’t go forward so my chair is permanently stuck backwards, but it still moves forward and backwards and the arch support still moves

havnt drove the car for more than 3 weeks. Now we are paying car loan and full coverage on a car we can't drive. Ford wants at least 5k to fix which we dont have. any advice other than never buy another Ford again?

I was kind of done with Ford vehicles years ago after a ranger that I owned saw the slave cylinder for the transmission fail and I found it that it wasn't on the master brake cylinder, no, that would be too simple. Instead it was in the transmission, requiring the transmission needing to be removed to replace a $150 part.

I have 2 Ford Edges 1 sport 2016 and 2021 ST. I baby them good gas good oil and do what I can. I must say its very scary to know that its a potential disaster

Had that happen on my 2010 Flex a few years ago. My mechanic wouldn't do it. Took it to the dealer and it was nearly $5000.
