ok let me tell you in order to understand and frankly is very easy concept. Cyprus is a hot country therefore we have solar panels that heats the water. on a bad weather we have a heater switch which starts an element within the water boiler tank which heats water. the amount of time the water needs to heat it depends if the sun appered on the sky a little ,a lot ,or at all therefore the standard practise a family is doing it opens the heater switch for an hour in order for at least 4 people to make bath

Why havent you said earlier you are an american? I still did not understood your point.. or why you deleted your initial video where you took my comment you reply to.. Its a very simple system, as you kettle boils water and you let it finish before you use the water - or it automatiacally switches off once you lift it from its base, the boiler for your bathroom works the same way. If you use water while the heater is on - it means you will empty the boilers tank and the element which is designed to heat water, will heat air and get burnt! Cypriots and all mediteranean countries who USE solar panels and boilers know exactly how to use it. You could just ask your landlord or GOOGLE it.

Its called the immersion heater and what it does is it boils the water like a kettle does. Not all properties have the switch as a timer but as a normal switch that you turn off and on. If your tank is big then you need more time to boil the water. Its only for days that are cloudy with no sun.

we use the sun 🌞 for hot water free.lf there is no sun for days, then you use electricity (baton). let you have photovoltaic then it's free 😉

it is the timer for the boiler.. in Cyprus if the boiler works with diesel, you can have full hot water for one person in 15 minutes.

Idk about hot water at Kanika Hotels but at every local’s house you need to press the button and wait for an hour until the water gets warm.
