I know this isn’t the point of the vid, but go back and try again! The VA almost always doesn’t rate someone their deserved ratings the first two attempts. They eventually budge tho. Also, get buddy statements! Buddy statements are huge, especially from your medics/corpsman.

The captain doc at the aid station told me to suck it up, I told him to put those exact notes in my file. He ordered MRIs 2 minutes later. I now have a pretty neat rating 🥰

I had to FOIA my records, twice, and then go through CONGRESS (shoutout Ken Calvert) to get access to “classified” records about a STUPID WFX in Poland that wasn’t even cool. I was able to get the DOD to release redacted records, which got me my disability rating. 🔥🔥

I was regular infantry and had very similar issues. I had a testicular torsion and couldn't get birds cause ,, terry had .50s... "antiaircraft excuse or whatever"... 🤣 I had to manually roll it back the way it was supposed to be and then hold it, while trying to walk away from Willy Pete being thrown at us.... yeah, I'm totally going to hit up that aid station... uh huh.
