(2+1) Method: Pray 2 rakah as normal and do Salam(Tasleem). Then stand up for 1 rakah and after ruku make dua by raising hands, then go to sujood and sit for tashahhud and complete your rakah. That’s your witr prayer done ✅

Before teaching people a method of prayer, please make sure you have done proper research. Acts of worship should be taught based on authentic evidence, not just on what seems easy or convenient. In Witr prayer, the regular Qunoot is done before Ruku. This is supported by the narration of Anas ibn Malik in Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 1001) where he was asked whether Qunoot was before or after Ruku, and he replied: “Before Ruku.” The Qunoot that was done after Ruku was actually Qunoot Nazilah, which was a temporary supplication during a time of hardship. Anas ibn Malik also reported in Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 1002) that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ made Qunoot after Ruku for about one month, then he stopped. So these two should not be mixed. Regular Qunoot of Witr is before Ruku. Qunoot Nazilah is after Ruku during specific circumstances.

The Prophet ﷺ said do not make the Witr prayer like the Maghrib. So there are two methods 2 + 1 pray to rakhas Tasleem. The second way read all three rakhas continuously and make tasleem at the end. Quran and Hadith Bitesize fully referenced Hadith @manier_khan

we dont pray like that. we pray like maghrib, in 3rd rakaat we read alhum + surah iklass, then allahu akbar lift hand and then read durood qunoot or 3 time rabbana aatina fid dunya, and then as normal
