@builderbrigade: 🛑 Don’t Build a House without seeing my Checklist… Get it at BuilderBrigade.com These recessed Halo lights got an upgrade. No more mouse trap design for them to snap into the ceiling. The new design locks out so you’re able to insert the light without pinching and keeping tension like you had to on the mouse trap design. You’d pull these out more than you’d think to control the lighting temperature. Pretty sweeet! @gethalolighting #BuilderBrigade #homebuilding #NewConstruction #customHome #HomeBuildingChecklist Home
All that tension doesn’t damage any sheet rock ever.

Ok but what about double 5/8 or a over lay of horse hair with the ceiling being 3 inches thick

Unfortunately with Halo the cost doesn’t justify the product. Too many outperform them for way less!

why electricians put the psu in the ceiling I don't know. never get a strait answer. Why not put the psu at the panel and run some 18/2 (with ground lead of course) to the light. makes the psu serviceable witout opening the light if the psu is the issue.
