I got rid of my escrow payment cause I can keep the money and earn interest on it. but it's not a free lunch, you still have to pay for insurance and taxes

I remove my escrow on mines as well and it’s a lot cheaper for me - the bank end up owing me $900 from the escrow. If your home insurance keeps going up, you might want to shop around. I only had to pay $4 in taxes 😊

I mean if theyre responsible enough to save the money for the insurance and taxes themselves on the side, but its kind of proven ppl dont with all the tax liens and sells. so it doesnt "slash the bill" it just makes you personally responsible to pay those 2 items yourself.
