@mindyonthemove: USA Spring Bucket-list: see a CA wildflower bloom 🌸👇🏻🤩 Personally, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a spectacular display of desert wildflowers in one place before! It was a dream. come. true!!! And…the perfect way to kick off California’s wildflower season! 🙌🏻 📌 Save for your future Southern California spring adventures and share with your best nature-loving pals! 📍Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California We saw the most wildflowers at: 🌼 Henderson Canyon 🪻 Coyote Canyon 🌺 But these are also notable spots to see them as well: Borrego Palm Canyon, Hellhole Canyon and Galetta Meadows near the metal sculptures. *Note: With the rain ahead, this area will get a needed boost and continue producing fresh blooms (and it’s already SPECTACULAR 🤩)!! MORE INFO BELOW ⬇️ ⛔️Always remember to practice all the leave no trace principles; do not trample the flowers for photo ops (or for any reason)!! There’s plenty of ways to get creative with video/photography angles and you can always use tools like a long pole + more to snag those incredible shots! 🚗 It’s about 1 hr from Palm Springs; 1 hr 45 mins from Joshua Tree; 1.5 hrs from San Diego and 2.5 hrs from LA (this is all traffic depending, of course). 🏠 Where to stay? This time, we camped at Leaping Lizard RV Ranch in Borrego Springs and it was great! Pool, spa, shaded sites, clean restrooms etc! We also LOVE @retrograderetreat that’s near Joshua Tree (but it’s worth the day-trip to see these wildflowers) OR @gentlebreezevilla in Coachella Valley which is only about 45-50 mins away! 🌄 Get here early!! Sunrise is best time to see the flower fields as they light up with the rising, golden sun. And best chance for minimal to no crowds. Second best option is sunset! 📅 This was all filmed this past week in February (for reference when planning) ❓Are you chasing wildflowers this spring?? If so .. where you headed? #californiawildflowers #superbloom #anzaborrego #desertadventures #southerncalifornia | California wildflower bloom | Anza-Borrego Desert State Park wildflowers | best place to see wildflowers in Southern California | where to see wildflowers in Southern California right now
