Dish soap like dawn is a degreaser so that’s why it’s used on dishes it’s gonna breaking down oils and any kind of grease and grime. Usually it’s not used in the bathroom because there’s not always a lot of grease to be cleaned but dawn dish soap is a good universal cleaner. Instead, I would use something more disinfecting like bleach because bathrooms, especially sink contain a lot of bodily fluids in a stronger chemical can help breakdown and sanitize.
