I’d leave the couch along the concrete pillar but put a skinny shelving unit behind the couch and put plants or something on it so the empty space doesn’t look weird. I’d also go with a darker rug for some pop and contrast from your couch and tv stand. I’m also just a man so take my opinion lightly 👍🏾
