I don’t think she should’ve taken it to this extreme or talked about “in your country”, but the owners should definitely have honored the original prices, it’s their mistake and every customer should have been told before any service given.

If the price is on the menus, that’s the price unless it’s one of those seasonal prices apply things. That has nothing to do with where or who, so don’t bring that into it. It’s just straight facts.

It is actually illegal to charge a higher price than the listed price in the US. She's correct about it being the law.

The “in your country” comment was unnecessary & ignorant .. but she isn’t wrong about the bait/switch bill. I would be upset too if I were handed a menu, ordered, & then given a bill that did not reflect the menu that was given to me

The owners can’t post one price, then charge another. It’s actually against the law. “a restaurant owner knowingly charges a price higher than what is posted on the menu, they can face significant fines, administrative penalties, and even criminal charges. In California, this is a violation of Business and Professions Code Section 12024.2, which makes it illegal to charge more than the "advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted" price”

Learn the American laws and follow them! Especially if you are going to run a business.
