@perkinzwithaz: Christian nationalist Texas Attorney General hopeful Mayes Middleton sure did work hard on SB11 to get state sponsored prayer into Texas schools, but it's looking like across Texas school boards are voting NO. Even conservative districts are calling SB11 a logistical nightmare. This failed attempt to further the Christian nationalist agenda in our schools is a victory. Keep the pressure up. School boards are required to vote by March 1 on whether they will implement SB11. Email your school board trustees and apply to give public comment urging them to vote NO to SB11 and state sponsored prayer. Public schools are not Sunday schools. #texas #texaspolitics #texaseducation #christiannationalism #publicschool
When do you think districts started voting on this? Mine probably voted no in the closed session portion of one of their meetings because I don’t remember seeing it happen, so I was going to go double check agenda items. There isn’t anything in there for either Februrary meeting.
