This comes from a car guy, the OP shouldn't feel sorry at all. Because 1: it wasn't her fault. 2: any mess like that is somewhat easy to solve. You either take the car to a special cleaning service or, in case the mess would leave unremovable stains, you change the seat's coating, which is inexpensive in 99% of the cases. It would only be a hassle if we are talking about some unique supercars/vintage cars, but I really doubt it's the case

Alice even could've said "No, you can't get in my car, we're calling an ambulance." You can be upset about the car without being upset AT someone

1st off, you don’t leave your partner when they are that far along, 2nd off, I’m 30 weeks pregnant and having my 2nd baby girl, and if I went into labor in a friends car, I’d feel terrible cause I know it can be messy, but offering to have the car fixed is the best thing they could have done
