@yinkaobebe: Writing your child's name as your "Next of Kin" does not mean they inherit your money. 🛑🇳🇬 This is one of the most dangerous financial myths in Nigeria. "Next of Kin" is simply an emergency contact. It is not a will, it is not a trust, and it has zero legal authority to transfer your wealth when you pass away. Instead of a smooth transfer, your bank accounts will be frozen, and your family will be forced into a multi-year battle in probate court just to get a Letter of Administration. This is exactly why 70% of Nigerian wealth disappears by the second generation. If you want to build institutional wealth, you have to move past basic bank forms. The 1% use Living Trusts, Holding Companies, and proper corporate succession planning so their assets transition invisibly and instantly. Save this video to protect your family's future, and share it with someone who urgently needs to update their financial structure. 👇🏾 #GenerationalWealth #BusinessInNigeria #FinancialLiteracy #EstatePlanning #NigerianEntrepreneurs

I tell this to my clients every time I discuss the need for setting up an Endowment account as means of saving up legacy funds. And what I've discovered in 60-80% of the people I've spoken with are usually completely unaware of this loophole that banks use to deny people and/or their loved ones of getting their hard earned money

The big question is "How Trusting are the Living Trust's" and the how trustworthy are the Trustees or TRUST FUND administrators? Look at what's happening to the family of a Nigerian man who died and The SAN who's supposedly the family attorney who changed the deceased property in London to his name and claimed the deceased have it to him as 'Gify' before his passing. Lawyers set up and administer these TRUSTs and we know they are the most corrupt (after politicians and bankers) in Nigeria
