Hi! I’ve been having LPR for about a month. Protonix 40mg twice a day and Pepcid at night. Throat pan has decreased but I still get the bad taste in mouth that doesn’t go away and lead to white coat on tongue. Is this due to acid reaching the throat?

Dr… my acid has been bad even watching diet and taking protonix and Pepcid 40 mg 50 days in no change today I feel like I have a ball in my lower throat with pain. I don’t know what to do anymore.

this lpr effects mental health big time ,please help was the secret on low acid diet ,had linx and on vitiams ,still serve sore throat why ? please help Dr . how u no it's definitely lpr ,horse voice ,sore throat and speaking hurts .and on paracetamol daily for pain. this sucks ,I have no answers ? was the trick ?

Do you have any suggestions, I went to the ENT twice and it says acid reflux. The right side of my throat hurts. Sometimes the right side of my ear clogs plus my nose feels heavy and if I scrunch my nose it hurts. Before, after I eat my meal it burns my throat and if I eat sweets my throat hurts when I swallow it feels like there's a broken glass in my throat. Also, I have excessive saliva and constant swallowing even without food. This started after two consecutive events in our family (Birthday and Festival). Also after 3/4 weeks of my sore throat, I experienced stomach pain and diarrhea I take an antibiotic that is not prescribed by the doctor. It is the metronidazole, I took 3 pcs of it. After that, I experienced excessive saliva.
