my one regret from peru was doing day trips instead of salkantay!! if you’re on the fence about salkantay, PLS do it!! i’m literlaly gonna go back just to do it. also, don’t miss out going to the amazon rain forrest! i went to iquitos and stayed at a lodge in the forrest :))

what about the Amazon rainforest and the Amazon river? the Tambopata national park or Manu? or Kuelap the other ancient lost city in Peru in the Amazon, If you are visiting Peru totally worth it to visit those places , there's a direct flight from cusco to the Amazon rainforest for only 30 dollars

def will be going back! highly recommend going to Tambopata via puerto maldonado if you want to explore the Amazon rainforest. so much wildlife and far from touristy. we stayed in kapievi, worth the quick flight from cusco!

Ok, but going to the floating islands in Puno was AMAZING. Its a day tour around the floating islands of the Uros People. Puno the city theres not much to see, but you need to tour the lake titicaca/floating islands!

Great itinerary! Knock out all the major spots in 2 weeks! I would recommend if anyone has more time, to spend more time in Lima! Lima deserves more rep. I absolutely love that city. Sooo much to do
