Mark Cuban calling the AI integration specialist role the next big thing is actually spot on. The real money won't be in building AI — it'll be in bridging the gap between AI capabilities and businesses that have no idea how to use them. 🧠🔥

I just used AI to create an app for printing labels at work. It now saves us hours each day. I have no idea how to code. They think I’m a genius.

Foolish. If you can learn AI, they (small and medium businesses) can learn AI too.

So programmers coded themselves obsolete for money. Nice.

you need to know how to code if you're going to be an ai integration specialist. businesses do not need implementation specialists that have no idea how AI really works and only use drag and drop AI workflow builders.
why is it that the seo bros turned into the smm bros and are now turning into the ai bros. it is bringing low quality solutions that dont work then gives it a bad name. So now we are going to have small businesses that say AI doesnt work (this is already happening there are multiple papers outlining how the majority of businesses aren't seeing roi from ai) just like many small businesses say seo, social media, or ads don't work.

Mark Cuban is correct, but you need business experience to help the small businesses and that’s what you’ve glossed over!

Yesterday I was asking chatgpt how to penetrate in the AI market and these are the same exact things he said to me. “Pick one vertical. Target dentists and landscaping cuz they care about leads and they would pay good for the services. ”

What about problem-solving, updating, maintaining, etc? Setup is one thing, but becoming a helpdesk for a bunch of small businesses for the foreseeable future sounds unsustainable?

Very fair point. AI isn’t optimized for companies if it can’t be implemented correctly

Good thoughts, but if your recommendation is "AI consultant" essentially it'll be a one time fee to set up those workflow, likely not a super easy sale, and not very scalable from MRR perspective. If your thought is CREATING a workflow for specific industry through vibe coding (ie. dental) that you sell as a service then your competition is every SAAS company within that industry that is already building AI into their crm/erp workflows which will have lots more capital then you. Thoughts?

Yes! The intersection of AI and systems. I’m an industrial and systems engineer and have worked across various industries. Finding the gaps between real processes and AI is the next big thing as most don’t know how to optimize AI. The real money will print when you can execute on closing the gap not just identifying it.
