Small tanks ARE harder to care for! People just don’t want to hear it. Bigger tanks have larger water volume and can hold a ton more plants making it lower maintenance

I have the same Hygger gravel cleaner. I see that you were using a different attachment for the side that goes in the bucket to refill your aquarium then I do. I’m going to have to try it the way you do it and not put all of them extensions on it. I also feel silly for not turning it on with my foot! Thank you for the pro tips. I absolutely love your tank set up.

I have a 30 gallon fully planted tank and it’s been set up for 2 years now, literally all I do is top it off with water and have removed some plants once and that’s it other than feeding my fish

My monstera cutting really eats all the nutrients in my 75 gallon. It does better in my tank than it ever did in soil. But I feel like it’s slowing down the growth of my actual underwater plants 😭

tbh i only do maintenance every 6 months on my tanks. with the exception of topping off the tanks. or if I decide to rescape the tank lol. this tank is a 5 gallon used to be shrimp only but I havent touched it in a year. 2 days ago was the first time I touched it in a while so I could add my new betta to it. parameters are perfect on this tank as well
