The Employer invests his own money, takes all the risks, has no guarantee of a salary, pays all the bills, etc. So eff the employees. If they want a piece of the action, start their business.

The problem with capitalism is not about "not getting equal share" but not getting enough to survive. What kind of society are we building? CEO’s most often come from wealth already get a large sum of money from family or they come up with an idea and convince wealthy people to financially support them and a small team to start. It’s like getting an inheritance of elite armor and weapon and a small group of people close to you to go hunt a monster and starting a business selling the spoils. There is no guarantee that weapons and armor will allow you to get the monster but it’s significantly easier and you had help from others. In the other scenario you find a monster nest that the wealthy people around you think they can make money on so they supply your group with the best weapons and armor for a larger percentage of profits made going forward. You then outsource all your labor so that other people are doing all of the work on the hunts as “the founder and investors” make a majority of the money. The main idea of the story is that most ceos either have access to a money or an idea that others with money will provide them with, they take a small risk with existing help that has no guarantee but a better probability of a return and then take a majority of a return on all the work that other people put in. If every founder genuinely started from absolutely nothing put money from their pockets and their labor into creating the business, and made large contributions to the scaling and labor going forward it would make sense they get a large piece of the pie. In reality the entrepreneurship is under the most ideal circumstances possible where their risks are minimal, their rewards are maximal and the people going forward who are actually sacrificing time and energy aren’t making a fair return on their effort

I never understood how an employee could feel that because their labor earned the company $30/hr and only receive $20/hr in wages they are being cheated when without the company's equipment, materials, infrastructure, clientele, etc. that employees labor would never earn $30 an hour on its own.

Sure. Good metaphor. But then there's a cold winter in the village. The guy has enough meat to last the whole village 5 winters. When all the people who helped to gather this meat are laid off while he still has more than enough, but he told a sob story that the times are tough.

In real life the first guy takes 100% the amount of meat that the last guy gets. Also he hires friends or people who went to the same school as him to get the second and third biggest pieces and the trap was inherited from his dad. He then spends some of the meat to buy off politicians and police to make sure no one takes his meat and no one else can build a trap

So many in the comments miss the point. If you have an idea, and you are willing to put in the time and energy to make that idea a reality, doesn’t matter what you start with, doesn’t matter who your parents are, you get rewarded if your idea turns into a profitable commodity that people are willing to spend their money on. Capitalism works because people always have a choice of what they are going to spend their money on, and if you were the one who came up with the idea for the sought after item, you get the reward. The people who work for you also have a choice - if they didn’t come up with the idea, and only help to make that idea sell, they can decide if they are making enough or not - and can leave if they aren’t satisfied. Nothing forces you to buy the product or work for the company that makes it. And if you are forced, then usually that is the government playing a role in the game, which should never be allowed.

we need to stop "trying to understand" capitalism and trying to "teach" Capitalism when it is the system we're trying to move on from. it's like Freudian psychoanalysis. At some point we all need to stop "trying to understand why" and simply do better.

What about the conditions that enable the hunter to hunt for the buffalo? I am assuming the village is a collective community, ensuring security and safety in a sense of traditionally doing the right thing of hunting deer and rabbit. I agree with you the hunter takes the risk to hunt the buffalo all by himself, but this risk is backed by existing security of conditions created by his village/parents cuz no one survives individually.
