Im a Toyota Master, unfortunately Toyota does say 10k but i do 5k on mine. Too many failures and issues with 10k. Don't understand it but that's Toyota

I don't understand was this is so difficult to understand....if you want to do 10k, DO IT! If it takes a dump as result, enjoy your oil change savings.

Dude with the million mile tundra was a hotshot driver doing lots of highway miles, you can get away with 10k mile intervals if most of your driving is highway. For normal commuters 10k miles is too much. For normal commuting it’s better to do 5k miles.

Million mile Toyota? Likely mostly highway, u can get away with longer oil change intervals. Everyone should change 5k max, unless ur driving 99% highway with long trips.

I run full synthetic and change all mine at 3,500 miles. The oil is still clean in all four of our vehicles when changed, been that way since they were new.

If oil changes were expensive maybe i could understand the longer interval but at the end of the day... oil is cheaper than an engine! Why gamble?

10k oil changes on my Superdutys since new. On my 15th unit and they all had Ford premium maintenance programs up to 150k. Never any oil related issues units well into 335k.
