no hate or anything just trying to help but when you have nails on ur wadu isn’t valid bec the water doesn’t go touch ur bare nails which means all ur prayers aren’t valid which will also mean ur fasting doesn’t count. Again no hate just trying to advise and help.

There’s no such thing as Ramadan nails. Your prayer still doesn’t count Ramadan or not if you have nails on.

I really believed it was okay until my grandma died 6 years ago, like I alwaysss had my nails painted. But they almost didn’t even let me perform ghusl on her til my nail polish was removed because it’s a question of wudhu, I haven’t worn any nail polish/ got my nails done since then bc I don’t wanna risk being buried in them either 😭 but Allah knows best!

I learned its open to interpretation for nails, but I listen to the muslim undertaker on tiktok saying that when washing the body upon death it is nearly impossible to remove polish and fake nails, leaving your wash questionable. that freaked me out bad!

maybe opt in for a water permeable polish so that way water can reach the cuticle bed? I’ve seen some halal polishes ik they don’t last that much but that’s because it allows for the water to get thru during wudu 🥰🩷
